Lose yourself in the Vessels Gallery where you'll see the latest jewels that emerged from the saggar kilns.
Saggar fired vessels are thrown on the potter's wheel and hand polished to create a satin sheen. Each vessel is carefully wrapped in organic materials and nested in a gas kiln where it is fired for up to 6 hours. As the flames mark the surface, a natural fume is left behind, yielding the soft, earthy colors you see.
There is no glaze on this work, as a result, these vessels do not hold water.
Handles are designed from naturally harvested wood and attached with jewels beneath the lid.
