Clay Carving Workshops
Brenda McMahon Gallery hosts a one-night art experience in Gulfport, Florida called A Taste of Art workshop. This 3-hour art ceramic clay carving class is held at artist/gallerist Brenda McMahon's Gulfport ceramic studio. At the end of the one-night class, participants have a completed art piece made by their hands, with the guidance of the artist-teacher.
What's included in the workshop?
Taste of Art classes and workshops in Gulfport, include beverages and light bites. The teacher supplies all materials, tools, glazes and framing.
Do I need any art experience?
Participants do not need any art experience to enroll in these art workshops. The only thing you need is an open mind and we'll take it from there. Despite what you think, anyone can do art you just need a good teacher! That's where we come in.
When do I get my final piece?
The carved ceramic tile has to be fired and glazed after the class, so it can be picked up with 2-3 weeks. Shipping is available for a $15 fee.
Where are the art workshops held and who teaches them?
Brenda McMahon teaches the CLAY classes. These tile carving classes are held 1 mile north at Brenda McMahon Ceramic Studio on 53rd Street South, in Gulfport. You'll have an experience in a professional art studio with a master in her craft. This part is priceless!
